Just when you thought you'd seen everything
I've seen some oddish things in my time: ostrich burgers, water buffalo yogurt, soup bowls made of cornstarch, solar-powered vibrators, and baskets made out of recycled chopsticks. But this has to take the cake:

That's right, folks, paper made from elephant poop! And what an audacious logo to boot!

While I admire the efforts to reduce, reuse, recycle, and I realize my aversion is entirely psychological (they process it so they're only using the grass fiber found *in* the elephant poo) I have to wonder if there are reasonable limits that this product line has crossed...

A story headline on BBC.co.uk also amused my boyfriend and I greatly: "Ships to get vomiting bug guide." We knew it had to mean something reasonable (and if you read the article you'll see it does), but what a horrible choice of headline!!! What first came to Boyfriend's mind was guidebooks to help passengers identify various species of vomiting bugs ("this is the vomiting Elmer's beetle..." etc.) and I had in my head a largeish red-and-black bug with a tour guide hat and a bull horn who had a tendency to vomit sporadically while giving tours. "And on your left you'll see --- blehhhhhhh!"

We're both a little mad, as you can see Maybe myself a wee bit moreso than him...
